You're looking at my 3 little ones, and my platonic life partner's 4.

This is the first time I've ever been able to get a picture of all the kids looking happy & adorable.

They had so much fun together it was mind blowing.

So beings project brain wash them to move here stat.

& yes this will be printed huge & hung somewhere in my house, even though I'm completely out of wall space.

This was us, with our impromptu self-portrait before leaving for school this morning.

This kid..he's just like his mommy.

Always the last to get up, and if he doesn't get ample sleep time he's nearly impossible to deal with in the mornings.

We just really like our sleep.

My morning self portrait wasn't nearly as pretty as the rest of you, but this is me hating the cold rainy weather outside.

Our hot water tank has been out since the day before yesterday, so my hair's exxxtttra greasy.

Okay so I've considered myself a pretty hardcore feminist since my early 20's.

I think it was my way of escaping my strict religious upbringing.

I've read all the required material, went a good 2 years without shaving my pits or legs, and even shaved my head for a while.

Which means that it makes absolute sense that I happen to be raising the girliest, most boy crazy 7 year old girl on the freaking planet.

It's been a real challenge for me. In a lot of ways I connect more with my boys than I do with her. And it's something I'm trying really hard to work on.

I want to love and embrace her obsession with all things girl. Selena Gomez, make-up, curling irons, and the like.

You'd better believe that the day she turns 16 though we'll be reading Cunt together. Because she can attend her protests in high heels.
