A prettier photo of these babies can be seen here. Our first day in Paris was completed with macarons from Ladurée. I got a box of 20, one of each flavour, plus four extra rose. Pete got his own box (haha) of 10.

They dwindled down to zero in less than two days.

Macarons from Ladurée on 75, avenue des Champs-Elysées. Eaten on our hotel room balcony. Hotel Europe Saint Severin, 38-40 rue Saint Severin. Paris, France.

@watarigoro : sadly yes. I brought another box home and ate them all already.

@aiyah : I think macarons made outside of France are easy to get where you are. Look what I found for you! losangeles.citysearch.com/roundup/41331

They're everywhere in NYC. Unfortunately, its RARE to find them in Toronto :(
