For Scavenge Challenge #17: Provide a strong sense of dryness or aridity in a photo. Not hard to do right now. This was taken 9 days ago. When I drove to my mom's on Friday I was appalled by the state of the pastures, the only plants with any green are the trees. If it does not rain soon they will begin to suffer. I have been watering mine faithfully as I do not want to lose any.

It has been brutal Paula. I on't even want to know the price of beef, chicken and pork this fall. A few of my rancher clients have been selling off because they can't feed their herds. Gonna be a shortage and high prices for sure.
