I made my way to the parking garage on the bottom floor. I pulled out
my key fob and unlocked my sports car. Man, I love that little car!
There was a scuffing noise on the cement behind me, causing me to spin
around and duck behind my car. He was an old enemy I had run into on
"Hello, Dimitri." I said, pulling my pistol out.
"Give me the briefcase." He leveled the gun at my head.
"I can't." I replied.
He emptied a clip into the side of my car, the cement floor, and the walls around me. I had ducked just in time.
I flung the door open and hit the lock button. A second barrage of bullets bounced harmlessly off the reinforced glass. I stepped on the gas pedal. Nothing.
Dimitri pulled a gas grenade out of his suit and tossed it under the car. Fumes began filtering in. I popped open the glovebox and reached for my gas mask. Everything was fading. I was moving too slow. So tired. The last thing I heard was someone trying to force the door open...
