    How do you start a conversation with an elegant lady like this? You don't ask her for coffee recommendations - there was just coffee when this was painted. A compliment would be in order - tell her you like the color of the scarf. If she is interested, that will open the door. This painting was for the story "That Special Face" in Cosmopolitan in May 1951.
