- The curves of this work very well with the build! - imagination DUCK
- Grrrr...these make it look far larger than it is. - ZAND3R
- My favorite thing about modulex is that they tend to remove the sense of scale by being so tiny! ;)
- That bag fits very nicely in there...which i didnt expect at all :s
- These just make it that bit better! - Τristman
- Hehe, gotta love this! Flower power? ;) - The Legonator
GRUNT Light Assault Vehicle
Finally i can build a little!
I've been dying to try this thing out , and been doing many sketches
of how i wanted it to look (including some during work!)
Its a mix of eras in terms of bricks with the very old 1963 modulex bricks together with brand new 2011 Hero Factory stuff. Interesting mix to work with.
The vehicle itself is self explanatory , its some sort of scout assault vehicle that can fire short range missiles. I havent decided if its fully remote controlled/robotized or if there are just very few opening just like some armored vehicles have. You decide ;)
All the wheels turn properly and are actually articulated in the front by the socket connection of HF parts

NPU!

Ooh. That hero factory part (parts?) make this thing look like a die-cast. Do those modulex blocks fit perfectly, or are the stickers more than decoration? Bonus points if it's a perfect fit... but still pretty awesome if not.

looks like a video game vehicle. incredible use of stickers. would it be too much of a request to ask you to post a detailed walk-through of your sticker making process? after doing stickers for my last moc, i understand and appreciate how much of a skill it is that you and a few others on flickr have with your incredible usage of stickers.

This Hero Factory part was obviously made for that! Wonderful idea.
I couldn't find what part the wheels were and how they were attached...

Thanks a lot everyone, Picture has been replaced by one that includes a shot of the back ... dunno why i forgot to put it at first.
@ curtydc: I use only official lego stickers (mostly from exo force sets) that i cut in order to keep just what i want. Then i make several attempts on the model a,d keep the one i like best.
@ Décalé: They are old classic space wheels i think I dunno what set they're from as i bought them on bricklink. They are held together by a 4l bar (lightsaber blade) in white
@ DasenweTEN: i've been enjoying these complex Hero Factory parts a lot... they're strange connections are somehow interesting to work with.

That thing you did with the hero factory part is not NPU, not GPU, not EPU,..., we have to come up with a new definition for this kind of mindblowing usage!!!
