Barack Obama Champagne
Please Vote.
For so long now I've been spending so much time pouring over articles, editorials, videos, and polls, I can barely remember what it was like not to be fretting about whether or not Barack Obama would be successfully elected to the presidency this year. Finally I decided to try to stop worrying and let myself give in to feeling optimistic and hopeful. I did this by purchasing a bottle of champagne to pop open when the election results are announced Tuesday night. My friend Aaron and I decided that such a celebratory bottle required its very own label to mark such a special occasion. Here it is fixed in place along with my button to make it official.

Edit: This photo was used [with permission] twice in the December 29th, 2008 issue of Time Magazine - their person of the year issue. That person being Barack Obama, of course. :)

The people have spoken, now we must all work together to get this country back on course. We pray he will be the voice of reason against his ultra liberal members of his party and keep them in line.

I hope you enjoyed your victory champagne!!!! My mother-in-law, who is allergic, actually drank a small glass! (Saying that only for President-elect Barack Obama's win would she dare.)
Five minutes later she was itching up a storm, but still couldn't stop smiling!

As for me, I'm quite certain I've never enjoyed drinking champagne as much as I did on election night. And I can't stop smiling either.
