I have been back on Flickr 2 years today! Foggy day at NIST

This is from the very foggy day at NIST. I textured it with a texture from Lenabem that had a painterly feel to it. Converted to B&W. Not really sure what I was going for but it was fun to do.

Playing with textures and a foggy day.

Playing with textures and a foggy day.

Does anyone have software for frames on their photos. I have always used Picnik and in April they will be going to Google+. Only problem is they did not carry the frames to Google+.
I tried to do a reflection of the moon into the water but was unable to.. Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to do that?

In my almost 60 years....I have never seen daffodils in bloom the second week of January. Just had to share it with you all.

Blizzard of 2010 - We have not had any snow this season 2012!!!

I do hope we don't have any like this one this year, but a little dusting to make everything look clean is always nice.

This is what I saw when going out the front door of my complex. We have had over 20 inches of snow. They are calling for another 10 inches.

Air Force Memorial from Arlington Cemetary

Air Force Memorial from Arlington Cemetary

The Air Force Memorial looks like the Blue Angels splitting off. I love it.

The United States Air Force Memorial honors the service of the personnel of the United States Air Force and its predecessors. The Memorial is located in Arlington, Virginia, on the grounds of Fort Myer near The Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery, at the intersection of Columbia Pike and South Joyce Street. It was the last project of American architect James Ingo Freed (known for the design of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum) with the firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners for the United States Air Force Memorial Foundation.
