    4. Auld Lang Syne

    The actual translation of Auld Lang Syne is "Times Gone By" and for me, this is perfect.

    My beautiful granny (2nd from right) on promenade with her friends. We guess it was taken around 1933, so she would have been 22 and they were at the Winter Gardens in Portobello, Edinburgh. I love this photo more than words can say. She had style, class and a smile which could warm anyone's heart, I am so proud to be her granddaughter.

      I also love the old photographs, especially when they contain someone I knew at an older age and can then imagine as they were when they were in their prime. You are so right about her syle and smile.
