Eskimo Joe
Eskimo Joe - Live Earth, Sydney, Aussie Stadium, 7 Jul 2007.
This was the forth time I've seen these guys and I think this was the
best of them.
The photo is actually 3 photos stitched together with a rudimentary
stitching program and even more rudimentary stitching skills. Any
pointers greatly appreciated...

Your picture is far more beautiful than those in today´s journals! Did you enjoy the show?

Thanks everybody. I like the way the sepia tones came out too but my original intention was to try to disguise the stitching a little...
chu - thanks for the flattering comment. The show was great. Many of my favourite Australian artists were on the Sydney bill. It was just a pity the lighting failed during the final band's set and they finished the evening off in the dark!

Hey looks great! What stitching program did you use?
Ian Dawes (60 months ago | reply)
I kind of like the effect, it works for this shot. For ones where it doesn't work so well you might want to try ptgui as a stitching tool. I've used that an panorama factory (not free) for some remarkably tough handheld stitches. Where one fails the other often works magic.

p8 - thanks. I've dropped it in
matt - I used ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3. It came standard with the PictureProject software packaged with our little Nikon Coolpix point-and-shoot. I'm kinda new to the digital thing...
Ian - thanks for the pointers. I'll investigate further...
