I have but one word for you. Lard. Really, it's disgusting, but oh so yummy. And butter. Lots of butter. And sugar. Can't forget sugar. So, I guess that's three words. But, that makes me think... do you really need the apples? :-) How about a lard/butter/sugar pie? Hmmm. We'll have to give it a better name than that. How about a "cupboard pie". That sounds nice and country and good for you too. Can you whip me up one of those please? In the meantime,I'll be looking at your wonderful photograph.

mmmm... this apple looks so yummy - I can just taste the sweet crunch! We actually got a ton of apples last weekend and have eaten almost all of them already.
