Re: Thanks for your comment on my galloways. I tried to improve the picture and replaced it. I do not have so much with PS so it's quit hard to find the optimal settings without experience.

I think this is a great photo. I feel that if you would have explained the purpose of it as a footnote (the lack of activities for seniors) rather that to try to cover the requirements of this group, it would have more impact. This way it looks as an after thought.

This is one of those shots that are better in theory than in practice. Or at least the way it is presented here. As has been said, the over exposure doesn't work well in this shot, and you should have moved in closer for this shot. As much as I hate the phrase, I like the idea of this picture; I just wish it were exicuted better.

There is way too much going on in the background of this shot, it detracts from the main focus of the shot. Maybe getting a little closer to the subject matter would have cured this. Other than that, there is not much you could do about the sun, save for adjusting your ISO settings or shutter speed to reduce the light.. Overall it is a good photo.

bien bonita...super expresiva...me gusto mucho que la dejaras en colores...es tan facil que fotos como esta la dejen en bn para que la weá paresca arte...pero el trabajo aki me gusto mucho....algo sobreexpuesta me imagino o sobrecontrastada con algun programa ...pero tambien le dio un toque bien bueno

This is a great scene, and well captured. I agree with got2knit you should zoom in to focus on the expressive faces and avoid some of the distractions like the back of the woman's head at the right of the frame.

Such a warm and lovely capture .. lot of life .. lots of strories in them ..
compositionally .. could be a bit dif .. but lets not let that take away from this capture ..
will point it out as observations ..
you could go zoom in on them to caoture their expressions .. or you can zoom out a little to take in the ambience ...
some contrast might improve this .. and might be good to see this in BW too!

I like the tones in this. The composition could use some improvement (as outlined above) but the subject is nice. I think the image could be improved with some cropping and editing, but as it stands, it's interesting.

Technical: 6 - A stop or 2 overexposed which can be seen in the 2nd and 4th gentlemans heads. Natural light can be tricky and you were very close to benig right on. Just a little post processing would take care of it.
Composition: 6 - I agree a crop is in order. Very promising framing though.
Eye Appeal: 8 - The photo looks very natural and unstaged. Very appealing to the viewer. Could have been taken by a seasoned photojournalist. Way to go :)
Commercial Viability: 5 - The rating is not meant to be negative but incates this is more of a snapshot than a commercial or artistic photo

The image has nice color but it has a few lighting problems with a few hot spots (over exposed) where detail is lost.
Composition: 6
I think a crop is needed to draw focus to the scene and move it out of a snapshot look and feel.
Eye Appeal: 8
The image of the 4 men is really natural and relaxed and is very charming.
Commercial Viability: 4
I think the image could be stronger with a crop and some adjustments with post processing using levels. I think the image has little commercial applications as it stands now.
