I shot this just yesterday East of the Capitol. I had run across this particular view a few weeks earlier and made a mental note to come back one day and photograph it. I finally did! I think it looks great.

I photographed this way back at the end of May 2011 when I was living and working in the Pittsburgh area. I initially passed over this shot and didn't think too much of it until just a few days ago. I took a whack at editing it. Surprise! It was a real diamond in the rough. I wish it were lower ISO and shot on a tripod, but oh well... the noise adds to the drama. Fine with me!
