Community Transit double decker bus
Double-decker buses take up slack from articulated (accordion) buses, since the articulated buses run poorly in the snow: the articulated buses have the engine (and thus the powered axle) at the very rear of the bus, pushing the entire mass of the bus. While this normally works fine, it is obviously much harder to control on snow/ice.
