Struggle Against Adversity
This morning, I had bad news on the family front and I'm still reeling from the shock of it all. We're trying hard to absorb the reality that my dad might be gone soon but it's proving extremely difficult.
This photo does lift my spirit a bit because it reminds me that the smallest of life can survive in adversity.
But then, only slightly.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Let's hope that the doctors gave you a worst case scenario ...
Talking about new life emerging, I think, that your dad's daughter, Elizabeth, has a much better (chance in) life than this poor little plant ...
Wishing that your dad and you get through this in the best possible way.

Thank you so much for your kind words and consolation, amorphity and shadouphotography. We're trying to hold on as much as we can as a family and, hopefully, beat this disease to submission.

meera, my dad's doing better now. thanks for your concern. He's being treated at the Singapore General Hospital for his blood transfusions and medication. :(
