Week # 17
Theme: Minimalist
My hubby and I headed to Elk Island yesterday to find subjects that would work for this week's theme of minimalism. We had a beautiful day, so we packed a cooler and portable BBQ into the jeep...might as well make it a good time, I thought. (Anything that involves food and photography is a good time in my books lol). We saw lots of bison when we first entered the park, and then at Astotin Lake, we saw lots of birds...ducks, geese, sandpipers, gulls, and blackbirds. It was peaceful and so lovely. We stayed until after sunset.
And the best part...while I was having fun taking photos at the shoreline, my husband was cooking dinner...now, it doesn't get much better than that. :)

Food and photography are too of my favorite activities too. You couldn't have come up with a more beautifull minimalist scene or photograph. WOW!
