Lovely concept, and as the others say this one looks particularly sophisticated!

However, what is the book? It's obviously important...
Is Ludmilla a reference to the book? And if so, is it Calvino's Se una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore? Or am I looking too far into this... ;)

    18. Mimiangelo (70 months ago | reply)

      Ah. No.
The Cat Who Went Bananas. Ha ha ha ha! I've been fooled :)

      Who is Ludmilla then?

My father once wrote a poem that ends with "te-am iubit Ludmila ... te-am iubit candva .." that translates aproximately "I loved you Ludmila once..." And gues what the name of the Poem is: "Ballad of the Last Tea". I love the coincidence as I like the picture. Thanks! Something for me to ponder over tea tonight ...

    33. Krishh (64 months ago | reply)

Thanks, Andrei, for sharing this delightful coincidence. Is it mint tea you drink tonight?

    34. Andrei Singer (64 months ago | reply)

Nope, these days it is Asam if I work late as keppes me going better then coffee or my fav Putabong Darjeeling from what I believe to be the best small tea-shop in Brussels "Le Comptoir de Florian". Mint tea has to do with my obssesion with Morocco and the large amounts they drink at all times of day. In Morocco mint tea is a ritual, a pleasure, a shared moment, a negociation instrument etc. etc. It is strong balck tea with fresh mint and lots of sugar usually made in a metal pot and served in small glass cups. I have bought a set and do indulge on weekends with friends.

    35. Krishh (64 months ago | reply)

It's your photo www.flickr.com/photos/andreisinger/397749016/ that prompted my question. I'm glad to know you brought back a tea set.
I've found good reviews of Le Comptoir de Florian (good teas, cell and smoke free tea room...).
