Charise's House

Finally finished my house for Charise for the Cocorico Bee. I had fun adding the little details. A C for Charise, a Cocorico rooster, No. 27 which is not Charise's house number but still a part of her address.

    The top roofs look so cute!! I really like how they are different!! You are so amazing!! I need lots learning on paper piecing.. I really admire you ladies who does paper piecing so well and so cute!!

    Oh, Kylie, so glad to see that your masterpiece is finished! Knew from your incredible sketch that it was going to be awesome. In addition to loving all the well-thought-out details (of course!) I'm so impressed with your combination of fabrics. Picking up the olive in Rooster Girl's headboard with your lawn and lightly echoing the aqua of the roof and windows in your just-subtle-enough background was brilliant.

    You definitely give us beginners at paper piecing something to work toward!

    All those cute details! I just love the turrets and the roof line too! Amazing Kylie, especially following your surgery! The soft pretty colours are so Charise too!

    Thank you so much Kerry! I had a lot of spare time recovering from the surgery to plan this one out! Happily I've found paper piecing wasn't so hard to get back into. Hand sewing is taking me a bit longer.
