The first thing that comes to mind when I see these buildings is the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". When Ferris and co. are driving downtown they pan out and show a view of Chicago and these buildings are in that scene. When I was younger I used to call them the curling iron buildings. My office is directly across the river from these buildings so I get to see them everyday. This self portrait for the "Traveling Polaroid Camera Project" is in memory of John Hughes.
