Winging it. Manchester

Winging it. Manchester

Forgive me its been a while...

We went to the airport to catch a plane for some holijollies with the family. Booked not to long before the big day, we had two flights instead of the one that would have been ideal, if all was well we would had 2 hours to get though slow moving immigration, grab our bags and run for a connecting flight.
As shown here at Manchester waiting for our first light to arrive it looked kinda murky to me, it was rather late coming in, not because of the fog, but winds at Philadelphia where we were going to make the connection.

Thanks for looking.

Parfum, Diptych. HMM!

Parfum, Diptych. HMM!

Its been a while, been busy recently... thought it was time for a macromonday, its what mondays are for right?

Anyway here's a couple of snaps in a diptych of some contrast and lines from a bottle, always like the various lens effects that the glass and plastic make.

Anyway hope you are all doing great.

Thanks for looking and happy macromonday to you! HMM!

Last light at the Mile. (Happy New Year) Crosby

Last light at the Mile. (Happy New Year) Crosby

A mono treatment on this square.
Would love to say that it was the close of light for 2011 on Crosby beach, but its reprocessed from one taken about a year ago.

Its been a hard year for many, with the balance of ups and downs.

But looking back on a year in black and white and forwards to a full of colour 2012.

Happy New year.

Koenigsegg CCXR Edition. Top gear show Birmigham NEC Million pound car.

Snaps of the Koenigsegg n CCXR Edition from the Top Gear show this year at the Birmingham NEC.

Possibly the most expensive car I've touched, at over a million quid... ouch.

The engine tune in the CCXR Edition develops 1,018 BHP at 7000 rpm and 797 ft•lb (1,081 Nm) of torque at 5600 rpm. The body is made from
The interior is also reworked and features: color matched leather carpets, Koenigsegg Edition side step plates, Edition chronograph instrument cluster, a new Edition only layout for the center console control panels, and features a special version of the Koenigsegg Chronocluster including a redesigned center console. All other extra equipment for the Koenigsegg Edition CCXR and CCX comes as standard: carbon wheels, special interior trim and color, rearview camera, Satnav or Bluetooth, amplifiers, complete Inconell exhaust system.
The Edition is fitted with a remapped, 4.8 litre twin-supercharged Koenigsegg engine, and has been track-tuned by the inclusion of modified shock absorbers, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and a lowered chassis
The CCXR Edition was limited to a run of just four cars, of which this is one.
