龍年快樂, happy new year of the dragon

新年快樂, 恭喜發財

Chinese dragons are legendary creatures in Chinese mythology. Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers.

This is a very old photo I have in my database. Taken with a point and shoot in 2008, in Sheung Shui. This was a Chinese taoist festival called Ta Chiu.

Anyways, I thought I'd process this old photo and then share this picture with you, because I myself really like this photo.

View On Black. Try it.. it looks better

Between the columns

Between the columns

Inside the Sagrada Familia. Most of Gaudi's inspiration comes from mother nature herself. The columns inside the cathedral mirror the trees and branches of the real world. It's not only a pretty sight, the columns actually do function properly to support the construction.

Just enjoying the view of the harbour

Just enjoying the view of the harbour

Shot at the top of Castillo de Montjuic, in southern part of Barcelona. The panoramic view of Barcelona is really breathtaking so it's highly recommended if you ever want to visit this place.

Plaça d'Urquinaona

Plaça d'Urquinaona

Standing on the plaza of Urquinaona ( I don't even try to pronounce it), searching for the Santa Lucia Christmas market to eventually find out it's a totally different place. Nevertheless, the surrounding elements make it worthwhile to visit this place.

Shot from the Sagrada Familia by Gaudi. It's on the Unesco list of world heritages, pronounced basilica by Pope Benedict XVI in 2010.

Even though my legs were a bit shaky when I was up there, it's stupid not to climb up the Sagrada Familia (65 meters up to the highest viewing point). I would have regretted it if I didn't climb up the cathedral. Though I wished I never should have done it, because the part of descend was really awful.

Anyways, the view was amazing..!
