Did you try a high key B&W (or desat) version, or a richer darker version? How about this:
Recipe: NewLayerViaCopy, merge SoftLight @ 100%, ShadowsHighlights @ default. Flatten. Rotate 1.3CCW. Filter/Noise/ReduceNoise 100%. Done.
Do let me know if you'd rather I didn't mess around with your pictures... I do tend to play with Potatoshop™ rather too often ;)

No Adriran, play all you want, I like to see different versions! So you copied a new layer over this one, and used it as soft light, then merged? I really need to get a more up to date photoshop, mine doesn't have the noise reduction feature.
This version is quite different from the original, there were no orange, red or brown hues in the original, it was all greens and blues, but I wanted something that would echo the hair a bit more :)
Potatoshop sounds tastier, does that come in a mashed version?
