    Piesport was soooo lovely. The old town, which is actually on the other side of the river, is practically deserted. Just a few locals pottering about. Minka made friends with a local ginger cat and then the owner came out and gave her some kitty treats to feed the cat. So sweet. Didn't speak a lick of english but we didn't really need to exchange words. We also oggled a house that was undergoing massive renovations. It was like a dream. A dream full of crazy hard work but dreamy nonetheless! We stood there for so long that the owner came out and we had a great chat. He had been there four years and had done the majority of the work himself. He was doing a beautiful job at keeping the integrity of the gorgeous building intact. He pointed out to us the different eras that the building had undergone extensions. Some parts were a couple of hundred years old and the oldest was of indeterminable age :O
