Aysgarth Middle Falls River Ure Yorkshire

    Newer Older

Near the village of Aysgarth the River Ure tumbles over a series of broad limestone steps which are known as Aysgarth Falls. Although not particularly high the waterfalls are one of Wensleydale's most famous beauty spots.
The upper fall was featured in the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Geo-Tagged, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

I have been there a good few times now. Love it in the Dales. Aysgarth is a beautiful place and my dogs love chasing all the bunnies there.
