relief at eventually finding your way out of the ikea furniture and gizmo maze (called a 'klag') and to this glorious sight. the exit! (known as 'eskape' in swedish)

meatballs. the calm before the flat-pack storm

having lunch here seems like a good ikea - if you like meatballs:-)
random people in ikea, milton keynes. and yes, the wife dragged me there very much against my will!

I went to the lavatory in this giant swedish store and being no good at 'flat packing' it took some time. first off i had to find the cubicle carcass 'flarg' and put this together with supplied 'shplod' and flange sprocket 'drol' before adding the 'komplement' male effluent set. i investigated the instructions so thoroughly that wallander would have been proud, but i forgot to include 'yacky' flusher handle so had to return to aisle 45 location 1,097 to retrieve it. as i only had plastic payment with me i had to queue longer at the 'cards' only 'flogga' (checkout to you and me). by this time i had wet myself so didn't bother kompleting the 'dribbal' in-store urinal kit. perhaps next time.

as for putting together the 'schnitzel' dining set the wife bought for our 'finlandia' log cabin in the garden, i'll have to get in someone wiser and more patient than me to komplete that task i think :-)

anyone for meatballs?

another film camera addition for me - a ricoh rangefinder straight from the 70's. the handling of this camera is just great fun.

late afternoon on a soaked stamford side street. a few lights were on to highlight the gloom, but it was her smile that brightened the scene.
