      enjoy your day, your manuscript. Thanks for the mozart, poetry and this image. Interesting how I have been thinking of and noticing scallions lately.. are these from your garden? My daughters who are 'foodies' sent me a link to a great macaroni salad recipe with lots of scallions:

      I tried it and liked it. It was more work than I thought and my guests loved the steamed lamb's quarter (basically a weed growing in our yard) better.
