Madeleine's Room
This is what I did while Madeleine was at camp. It should explain about 95% of my Twitter feed, which has been cryptic for weeks. We surprised her when she got home this afternoon, and I think it was a success.
I have before pictures somewhere, but really, who needs to see that?

She has! She cried. I cried. Hers were tears of happiness, and mine were of relief. My biggest fear was that she'd see it and scream, "I WANTED PURPLE! I HATE YOU!"

um. this is awesome. my mom painted my room once while i was at camp and i certainly was very excited. i can't imagine the reaction for something like this!

I love it I love it! I think I have the same bed, actually (Ikea?), but in a very dark brown. Did you manage to buy one in white or did you paint it yourself?
