    Detail on the fountain yesterday - it is very cold here! Taken with my news zoom lens so maybe a bit fuzzy...

      An unusual and very interesting shot..I particularly like the shapes of the icicles, particularly the beard! The focus on the face is spot on, which is the main thing. The limited depth of field means there is some fall-off in sharpness at the of the picture, which is not a problem.,

      Thanks - I was lucky the ice was so amazing....I particularly liked the shape of the icicles too. The next day the sun came out and they had almost melted. This new lens is helping me get in closer to things, but also making it impossible to photograph the whole of something so I couldn't take a picture of the whole fountain as I intended. But this is probably better than the picture I wanted to take anyway.....
