Emu or Kangaroo?

    Ford Fairlane or Falcon with a Fairlane front bumper? It is hard to tell now. It is also hard to work out what kind of animal they hit.

      Unfortunately the vehicle nearly always comes off 2nd best, if a roo, they just sometimes hop away, if an emu, well anyone's guess.
      One of the hazards of the Aussie Bush!

      I wish that were true. I have never seen a roo or emu hit without the long shin bone breaking, although I have seen roos hop a fair distance before they collapse.
      They can certainly do planty of damage though. I had an emu one time which bent a steel bull bar back so far I couldn't open the bonnet of the ute.
