Many Leica R lenses are now classics that will probably never be produced again. Some of the more common lenses are now produced in M versions, and in fact, many have been surpassed by newer M versions.

The 50mm Summilux-R was already the best 50mm lens ever made, but it has been surpassed by the newer aspherical M version, which is without question, the world's best 50mm lens today. But the older R version still prints images with the classic Leica look and feel, and for all practical purposes, still one of the best 50mm primes in the world.

Saw this really old BMW motorcycle, probably from the late 1960s. I wanted to find out some information about it, but I could not locate the owner. After hanging around for a few minutes, I had to leave. Some additional shots below.
