The Lonely Flower

The Lonely Flower

This little flower/weed was in Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy. Because of the season, pretty much all the plant life was dead when we went to the this amazing city... except for this little stubborn flower poking out from behind some rocks :)

I absolutely love this one.

Sit Up

Sit Up

Her paws are so cute :) She's sitting up here, which is one trick that she gives her all at. She will literally throw her paws up as high as they can go, to the point where she practically falls backward haha This was a happy accident. I thought I was taking a video, but I took a picture instead. I kind of like it.

This is not a dog...

This is not a dog...

This is not a dog or an animal, I know. It's just a photo of some boring leaves. But the story behind this picture involves an animal and his name is Mr. Squigglesworth.

The other day, I hung with those notoriously friendly squirrels again on this busy bridge that people use for walking and riding their bikes. I was standing there for about 20 minutes, leaning against the railing, trying to manually focus on leaves and other things because I hadn't seen a squirrel since I got there. Well, I was focusing on these leaves and I heard a bike coming down the bridge. I looked up and practically had a heart attack. Why? A squirrel, whom I have named Mr. Squigglesworth (for no real reason), had been right near my arm, sniffing me the entire time that I had been focusing on these leaves... I don't know how I didn't notice that he was there, but he had literally almost walked right onto the arm of my jacket. Of course, when I freaked out, he freaked out. He ran in the opposite direction and I practically fell down and the biker nearly hit me haha

Well, anyway, it turns out that it was the same squirrel that had been super curious about me last time and had grabbed the hood of my lens while I was taking a photo of him. I have plenty of photos of Mr. Squigglesworth and his female friend, Buttons, that I can't wait to share with you all :)

I'm so weird. I can't believe I just named two squirrels. :P
