Pigeon

Pigeons... such awful birds. Maybe the big wood pigeons are cute and pretty out in the forests, but in london they're vermin... ragged, skinny and riddled with skank. Yuk. This guy looked quite serene though, nestled in a bush to escape the throng.

Bless him, he's probably dying of rabies....

Highgate Football BW

I like this black and white shot, I think it works a bit better than the colour version. The buildings in the background and the grey tones give it an urban feel. I often think Highgate Woods and Hampstead Heath are an intruiging mix like that - people wear their wellingtons and wax jackets to walk the dog, but we're surrounded by the urban sprawl in every direction.
