Molly Humphrey
My beautiful little Niece. I have been borrowing a Nikon 35mm f1.4 over the weekend to see if I can justify purchasing.. Still not 100% sure if I can justify it yet...

Nathan (Centre Parcs)
My family and my beautiful girlfriend have just returned from our 4 day break to Centre Parcs in Penrith. We had an awesome time swimming, playing sports and eating/drinking way too much!

Nathan Smith
Just a little personal image as I haven't uploaded an image in a little while.
I have had a couple of shoots since my last post, including a commercial shoot at the Hilton hotel in Newcastle/Gateshead & a short wedding in Gateshead for a fellow photographer, but nothing really to write home about.
I will have some new blog posts up on the website over December, but for now here is a quick portrait of my little brother Nathan.
I was trying to convince myself to spend some money on some alien bee lighting equipment. So I set up some of my Nikon flashes in the house and some softboxes.. I love sharp images, but I much prefer just shooting natural light & prime lenses..

Mel & David
Today I shot a lovely wedding at Close House Estate near Newcastle.
All of todays images were taken using Nikon D700, Nikon 24-70mm & Nikon 80-200mm with ambient light only.
Had a great day and narrowly escaped the rain! :)
