Clublands, Antioch, IL

Clublands Antioch is a mid-priced clubhouse development by Neumann Homes in suburban Antioch, IL, adjacent to forest preserve property.

Clublands broke ground in 2000 and will have a total of 955 single-family homes when completed. As of early 2007, just shy of 300 homes have been sold.

White Lake, a 47-acre spring fed and fish-stocked lake, is at the center of Clublands, and quite a few of the homes have wooded lake frontage.

An 8,000 square foot clubhouse, scheduled for completion some time in 2007, will have an activities director, special event rooms, “Kid’s Club,” swimming pools, a fitness center, a wraparound deck with gazebo and basketkball, v0olleyball and tennis courts.

The development has 54 acres of landscaped parks, ponds, bike paths, tot lots, five gazebos and benches for sitting and enjoying the outdoors.

Thirty acres of commercial development is planned along Route 173 adjacent to Clublands.

Neumann Homes is reportedly donating 25 nearby acres to Antioch School District #34 for a future middle school and, possibly, an elementary school.
