While on a two-week trip through Northern Minnesota, a nightly campfire was routine. On this night, I decided to document the experience with a self-portrait.

I'd purchased this lens in late November, but I hadn't had much chance to use it, so I went out on a rather warm (by Minnesota stanards) January night to test it. What a fabulously useful lens I found it to be! The sharpness and contrast are outstanding.
