[Reposting for contacts who may not have seen this one....] In Mendocino people lovingly take care of their gardens and the Mendocino Cafe is no exception. [See notes on the photo for more info.] Every once in a while there's a scene that says "Spring is here!" and this little path, the flowers, the luminous sunlight, the glimpse of the tranquil blue Bay...all seemed to be celebrating the sense of renewal that emerges so miraculously from winter. Living along the Pacific coast where we often have misty mornings because of the marine layer that rolls in and out between land and sea, to have such a clear sunny morning is truly special! Just pristine fresh air, a gorgeous luminosity, a view to the ocean and flowers singing praises to it all. Magical for sure!
I added a couple layers/textures to the original image, which you can see below. Although I loved the original, there is something so enchanted about this scene that I thought to emphasize that magical quality: I used one rosy-golden layer of slight texture by Borealnz, and another, more ochre/yellow looking texture by Bocaccino.
