Dear Flickr friends ~ Not ready to leave my Paris archives just quite yet so I am posting another view of the Sacre Coeur for you. I love the light and the color of the sky at dusk - the 'blue hour' - when day turns to night. [If you are interested in a brief and interesting history of the Sacre Coeur in English, click on the photo below where I've posted it in the comments section. The Sacre Coeur was built in the late 1800's on the hightest hill of Paris, where there had been a temple - since Roman times - that was found in archeological digs. Later other churches were built over those ruins.]
Bonne semaine!

Rita I started to watch this whole set and had to stop here. You have so many photos which I want to stare at for about 3 hours each and I dont know what to do. So, I think I'm going to give myself about a month to see all of these, just 3 or 4 at a sitting. This is kind of a Forest Gump situation, "Life is like a box of chocolates." So is this set. Thank you.
