This dung beetle was actually dead and ready to eat. I took this picture seconds before chewing it for the 1st time in my life. It is a delicacy in rural Thai village and it cost 20 baht (approx 50 US cents) for 100 beetles. The wings were removed and they were caged for 3 days to allow for "self-cleaning". It tasted "OK".

This was taken while at a small local village carnival where very simple children games are there for kids. This is a air-filled slide and the kids seem to have great fun sliding down in various styles. I used a slower shutter speed to capture the motion of them sliding down.

This was taken while driving around the Lake Phayao in the Phayao province in Thailand looking for a good spot to take the sunset. I spotted this fishery area with a small swarmp in the foreground. The sun is still high and thus i went thru a gradient ND treatement using Lightroom.

i was ording dinner at a restaurant when i caught sight of this old lady sitting outside her home in one of the alleys. I was struck by the calm and elegance of her sitting posture and quickly took a few shots. She saw me taking pic but didnt seem to mind.

I was driving along a highway enroute to the 1000-island lake harbour when i saw this beautiful scenary. I walked (or rather ran) up and down this stretch to take a few shot when i spotted this two fishing buddies enjoying themselves. The sand, rock behind them and the blue lake and green islands ahead of them posed a strong contrast.
