This was the first 'decent' shot that came out of my infrared converted camera. After making custom white balance on the green grass and starting to shoot, one thing became obvious from the beginning: no burnt highlights !!
At the time this picture was taken there was a very heavy and yet bright overcast sky, the kind that will blow the highlights in all the sky in a normal camera. But infrared gets MORE light from the green grass than from the very white luminous clouds - amazing !! Therefore, it becomes almost even with the sky. Ha !!
