Former Tivoli cinema, Talbot Square, Blackpool. 31 October 2007.

Built 1868 as Assembly Rooms, it was the Theatre Royal by the 1870s.
In 1907 it became the Tivoli cinema, which closed in 1980 to become a bingo hall.
Later to become the Music Hall Tavern.
Yates (of Yates's Wine Lodge fame) bought the building in 1896.

    Update.
    Demolished following a fire.

Not sure exactly where in the building the cinema was, but the lobby cards were in the arcade running under the building behind the Yates' in your image. There was a pet shop in the arcade, I remember.

It was on the right hand side.
      Probably upstairs?

Burned down today, from what I can tell looks as though it went through the whole thing :(

      Good grief!
I saw the news and it said Clifton Street, and I wondered about the former Tatler cinema.
So it looks like I'll be going to Blackpool to take some photos.

I seem to remember that there was an entrance on either side of the bulding (towards the back of Yate's). That lead to a passage and the doorway into the cinema was halfway down the corridor.
