Outdone
EXPLORED #12 May 30th!
Ok yesterday was a bit of a wash-out, and a rather long walk (from Angel to Liverpool Street via Brick Land!). We did find the most cool bar ever though in Shoreditch. The place was rammed with mods ad their scooters, very friendly relaxed atmosphere, BBQ in the garden and a band playing downstairs.
On the left is the Vespa and right the Lambretta. I like the way the Vespa's light and wheel (steering lock) is turned away like it embarrassed, outdone, by the Lambretta and all it's lights.

It's definitely being out-blinged. I guess the owner of the one of the right subscribes to that old invisibility theory tested on aircraft in the second World War. I think it was called the Yehudi Project.

Great capture Lee, i do love the light n the Vespa too but your eye is most definately drawn to the Lambretta and those lights, great composition and subjects

Sounds like a cool walk Lee. That area of London is full of character and great watering holes/bars/eateries etc.

Cheers guys I loved the scooters and the modtastic people down there, wish I still had my scooter. Still in London and it's so much more fun and sociable than Essex :(.

careful not to let the CAA see that Lambretta or they'll cite it as a hazard to aviation and require it to be licensed! makes one wonder if the owner of the Lambretta is trying to compensate for a deficiency in some other department. at any rate, great capture and post processing.
