Poppy zipper pouch

    Beige cotton hand and machine embroidery, hand applique poppy. Mother's Day gift. Pouch structure design by Amy Karol from her book "Bend the rules sewing". Outside design made up by me as I went along... ;-)

      Thanks everyone! My mum loves poppies, so I hope she'll like this, and although she's happy to machine sew, she hasn't the patience for hand-sewing so she wouldn't make this for herself. But oh! I think I must have decided to use the worst-fraying red fabric possible! Still, poppies are wild flowers, so if it is looks a little ragged, it's ok... ;-)
