Getting Air
My daughter Cadence, doing what kids do. And yes, she IS going "AAAAHHHHHH!" into the fan to sound like an alien.
Thanks to Whet Moser of the Chicago Reader for posting this to the Chicagoland Blog which in turn got picked up by Gizmodo and then MrBabyMan posted it to Digg where it's apparently getting dugg alot and made the front page at some point today.
P.S. All the freaks who make nasty inappropriate comments on Digg or the other sites should know that Cadence DOES in fact have superhero powers, so if I were you, I'd hope all those comments get erased or buried by the time she learns to read.

There's an infectious windblow spirit to the image. I also like the background fan in waiting, the foreground figure, and the thought bubble-like painting in the background. The cords seem lie on the floor like squiggling lines of a drawing.
