Well, I have been branching out a little bit lately... I've taken on portrait photography and now I just finished a job for the Beal House Inn in Littleton, NH. I shot the entire Inn including their 4 star restaurant. It was my first studio shoot, first time using lighting, first time pretty much doing any of this... Still burning through a few researched vantages from Western Maine. Really loved this view. With the approaching storm there was a narrow window for the sunrise to pass through on Friday morning. Great color, lots of pinks and purples. I will be back...

overcast sunset made for great uplighting as the sun went down. As the sun set a hole in the clouds formed up high allowing this bluer light in, I really liked the contrast.

Only sunrise that I attempted this week... And I overslept... caught the very end of this nice light. The summit had some great reds from the blueberry scrub, and golden browns from the alpine grasses.

Just south of Jordan Pond the Jordan River flows south. With the sun in full effect I was looking for a shady place to get in some moving water. I really liked how the sunlight was highlighting the small falls, water and rock. Couldn't think of a way to get rid of the top edge with out totally changing the shot so there it is!
