Red Mountain Canal

    EXPLORE: #116 on Thursday, February 14, 2008
This series came out with a little to much reddish-magenta. Not sure how to get greens greener without flatening or graying out the brown tones. Any ideas?

Life's blood in the desert. I like the canal leading your eye to the mountain. Nice composition.

I think I prefer this one. This scene seems to appear more vast and spacious. Also, the water leads the eye directly to the mountain.

Those colors are absolutely stunning! I wouldn't add more greens if I were you - the picture looks great as it is. I like all the different kinds of forms in it, too - the saguaro, the cloud formations, and the layered rock. Nice composition. :-)

Beautiful, this one is my favourite because of the cactus and the space here. The clouds seem suspended in space
