This window is a praying room of a historical house which Ayatollah Taleghani born and grew in.
It's located in a village near Taleghan.
He was considered a moderate in his views: he declared the headscarf as not being a mandatory part of hijab, among other opinions. (From WikiPedia)
The geotagged place is not accurate. I can't find exact location of the village. But sure it's in a circle with about 1 kilometer diameter, centered at the point I have geotagged.

I was very moved by this photo and the accompanying text. The image and words speak to all of us, we share your sadness. I am a composer doing a series of improvisations on the mandolin and I was inspired to create a piece based on your photo. Hamed has the eye, Bill. My dad was telling him how important it was and is to have the vision; and in your case, of course, the "ear" and the eye... I wish I could write poetry and I wish I could compose... so much I would have loved to say/express with those two media, but, alas, I can only try --as a "mute" might-- to make the sounds, and form the rhythms, but, only in the visual form; so, it is wonderful to see others who are talented (like Hamed) to do so, and to hear works like yours that accompany by inspiration (and "perspiration" of the 'creative' work; toils and troubles...) I enjoyed Hamed's image, and now it is very nicely coupled with a sound track. It is wonderful. The credit, of course, goes to the two of you :)
