The Nursery Progresses...
I had to use the flash, so the foreground is blown out, but you get the idea.
The gorgeous white giraffe is Jonathan Adler -- a gift from Laurenn McCubbin.
The crib and dresser are the Roxanne designs from Wal-Mart, first spied on Apartment Therapy's nursery site. I know, I know -- Wal-Mart's evil. We were punished when it came time to put it together, okay?

Just stumbled across this photo. We just bought the same crib - and I feel bad saying it's from Walmart too. (Not happy to hear you were punished putting it together - lol - ours is still in the box.)
And oddly enough, we have bed sheets the same print as the baby blanket. I wonder if you're friend got crafty and made the baby blanket from the sheets. Good idea - looks great!

Huh. Where did you get the sheets, do you remember? No, I know Courtney didn't make the blanket -- it's not a baby blanket but a down throw, and definitely manufactured. I believe it was a gift to her, but didn't really go with her home.

I got the sheets and duvet set at Target about a year or two ago.
We are "attempting" to put the crib together tomorrow. Any tips? :-)
Here's a link to the pic of our bedroom with those linens:

Just a thought; place some heavy objects in the bed (like a 12 pound dumbell or bag of sand) then shake the bed, maybe move the weight around and just leave in there for overnight and then re-check all of the connections to make sure they're still secure the next day.
Confirm that the connections are still nice and tight. Re-tighten all the screws, bolts and such as needed. Changes in room temperature, humidity and such can loosen up DIY furniture after assembly over time. Generally, after this "re-check" everything will be fine.
