Jet-propulsion properties of shaked soda can be traced back to more than 40 years ago. In 1964, a 5 year-old argentinian girl, Mafalda, -I had introduced you to her before- designed her first space-suit using soda syphons.

Specially dedicated research to you on the topic, below the report:

Hahaha! =) Note the shadow: its so high contrast with such funny perspective that it almost looks like a composite.

Ohman! That's a sweet shot! And that's what got into Alieness to bring us that great comic series!

Note the baking powder engine. I think it's a D4, by the healthy exhaust stream. You totally need to bring a high powered version of this to XRPS!

My father have just sent me an email telling me to be careful when I drink light coke because mixed with menthos can be explosive. And he forwards an email in portuguese about a child who apparently exploded or something.

To calm him and to let him know that I know about this combination, I sent him the link to your post here in reply. =)

Now, perhaps, this will worry him even more! 8-O

Guess I´ll write him again just saying that I don´t eat Menthos! -_-

The WIRED blog just gave a nice post on all this:

"...unabridged enthusiasm and the need for danger. Those are two things that we can’t get enough of here at the Gadget Lab."

    32. TheAlieness GiselaGiardino²³ (50 months ago | reply)

wow. I have seen that one of Sergey... I think it was "released" to the public domain in 2004... but there´s also one of him at the beach, which reconciles this one. (anyway he looks nice in white, many people agree(d) that it´s not that bad the photo actually!)

      Bill´s well... no comments. :P

Yours sorry but I don´t think it makes justice to the other 2. This is not embarrassing... because you didn´t pose for the photo. The other 2 guys gave consent !!! ;-)

      Nice post.
