Katrina Dauncey makes a save for the Red Team in hour 104 of the Longest Game for CF - a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis involving 40 women from the Vancouver, BC area. They will play more than ten days straight by the end of it all, and will have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for CF research.

Just close your eyes & think of England.

A window display at the corner of Robson and Seymour Streets in Vancouver, BC, about a month after the Royal visit from Will & Kate. It caught my eye not for the colourful British flag or the stiff upper lip of that slogan in the frame, but for the little right hand of Elizabeth II, which gives a pretty much continuous royal wave to passersby.
