Had a very productive shoot last Sunday... The weather was just perfect!

Unfortunately, the tree-tops are 'aligned' with the horizon in this shot. I just couldn't find a better PoV... In the end, I'm pleased with the result.

I start 2012 with a photo taken about 6 months ago, during my holiday in Austria.... This place was incredible! We got up very early to be the first ones to enter the toll road and have this magnificient road all for ourselves...

The scenic Grossglockner High Alpine Road (Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße) between Heiligenblut and Bruck was built between 1930 and 1935 according to plans of the engineer Franz Wallack and reaches a height of 2572 m (8438 ft). It is one of the main tourist attractions in Austria

I've been busy in the past few weeks, and didn't have time to either post or comment on Flickr... One more post for 2011, a bit over-processed but expressing the feeling I had when shooting this.
